Interesting that every time (in the '80s) the GD played Alpine, their set included a song from the old days.

I listened to the 1989 Alpine show of the 19th. Interesting that half the songs are from 1972 or earlier, and every show from that run includes material from the 1st or 2nd GD LPs.

My pick of the best (available 2 out of-) 3 day run:

August 20, 21, 22 1968 Fillmore West

Yeah. Favorite moment was Brent flapping his wings and saying 'fly away boys' during Blackbird, when Bobby and Jerry were cracking each other up. Classic blooper moment.
